17 drivers to carry in-car cameras for FOX's Indy 500 broadcast


The final tally of in-car cameras has been set and FOX Sports will bring fans inside 17 total cars in the field of 33 for Sunday’s Indianapolis 500.

Of those 17, six will feature FOX’s Driver’s Eye helmet cameras which made their IndyCar debut in April at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

FOX’s first airing of the Indy 500 comes to life Sunday morning with pre-race ceremonies and an anticipated green flag at 12:45pm ET.
