Kyle Petty on the 29th annual Charity Ride Across America
The 29th annual Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America begins today in Michigan.
Since its inception, the ride has raised over $22 million and continues to grow. Kyle Petty gets excited every year before the start and looks forward to the new stops the riders are set to hit, such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Niagara Falls this year.
Petty and I sat down this week to ponder the upcoming ride and reflect on how far it’s come. He also shared what’s going on under the helmet as he’s logging all those miles and what it has to do with a Sharpie and the gas tank.
Kelly Crandall
