IndyCar and FOX Sports working on 100 Days To Indy follow-up

The IndyCar docuseries ‘100 Days To Indy’ made in conjunction between The CW, VICE, and Penske Entertainment from 2023-’24 was said to be dead, but RACER has learned a recent decision has brought a modified version of the series back into production.

Details are sparse, but a Penske representative did confirm it has something in the works with new broadcasting partner FOX and FOX Sports and the show will be available on the streaming subscription service FOX Nation.

“Shoulder programming remains very important to us and also to FOX Sports,” the rep told RACER. “We’re optimistic fans will see even more of it this year than in recent seasons.”

RACER understands six episodes are in the works with FOX Sports, which could include some of the same producers who made 100 Days, and with the format expanded to cover the entire 17-race calendar. Three episodes are set to feature the run up through the Indy 500 and three will follow to cover the rest of the season and the pursuit of the IndyCar championship.

A formal update on the project is anticipated to be shared by the series in conjunction with this week’s start to the season at St. Petersburg.
