Lynn to miss Rolex 24 for Cadillac due to illness
Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing has announced that Alex Lynn will not take part in the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona after falling ill with a virus.
Lynn was due to drive the team's No. 40 V-Series.R at the 2025 season opener as part of an Endurance Cup programme with the team alongside his full-season FIA WEC drive with Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA.
"The team will contest the race with drivers Jordan Taylor, Louis Deletraz and Kamui Kobayashi," the statement read. "Cadillac Racing and Wayne Taylor Racing wish Alex a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Cadillac."
