Brittany Force hopeful father John will be at the track again soon
Brittany Force joined the NASCAR Cup Series festivities Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where she spoke on several other topics and previewed the upcoming NHRA event at the dragstrip across the street.
One of those was her father, John Force. The 16-time champion continues to recover from a June crash in Virginia. There are two races left on the NHRA schedule, and Force hopes that her father will be able to join the team at both in a return to the racetrack.
Kelly Crandall
Kelly has been on the NASCAR beat full-time since 2013, and joined RACER as chief NASCAR writer in 2017. Her work has also appeared in NASCAR.com, the NASCAR Illustrated magazine, and NBC Sports. A corporate communications graduate from Central Penn College, Crandall is a two-time George Cunningham Writer of the Year recipient from the National Motorsports Press Association.
