April 9-11 David Love Vintage Races Open CSRG’s Season

Willows, CA -- The David Love Memorial Vintage Races pay tribute to one of Classic Sports Racing Group’s founders, David Love, with a popular kickoff to the racing season at Sonoma Raceway.

The April 9-11 CSRG event features 7-8 run groups encompassing everything from Production Sports Cars to Can-Am, Trans-Am, F1 and a full complement of formula cars, particularly Formula Junior, Formula B and Formula Atlantic.

Registration deadline is 8 p.m. CDT April 2. See who’s already on the entry list.

Love began racing in the 1950s with a series of Porsches, Morgans and even a Formula Junior thrown in for good measure. He later purchased the car with which he will always be identified -- a 1958, "pontoon fender" Ferrari Testa Rossa that he raced from the 1960s through the 1990s at numerous West Coast vintage events.
