Preview: Barrett-Jackson March 20-27 Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ -- Barrett-Jackson is making the most of postponing its Scottsdale auction from the traditional January dates to the March 20-27 schedule.

In addition to offering the only remaining 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake built personally for Carroll Shelby, the sale will feature a

1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4

that won a Gold Award at the Cavallino Classic, and has also been displayed at the Amelia Island Concours.

And being offered at no reserve is a 1968 Shelby GT500 Factory Engineering car used to test the 428 Cobra Jet with the Conelec fuel injection. One of only two Conelec fuel-injection Shelbys – the other being the famed “Green Hornet” – this car is the only Conelec-equipped fastback.

The sale will also feature eight no reserve Hot Rods – including a 1933 Ford Custom Roadster -- from the Petersen Museum.
