Maserati Claims Top Sale in Gooding’s Geared Online Auction
Santa Monica, CA -- Gooding & Company reported yesterday that it had achieved sales of more than $9.2 million and a 77% sales rate (51 of 66 lots sold) in its October Geared Online auction.

Three vehicles sold for over $1 million, including a factory prototype 1956 Maserati A6G/54 Spider (above) that brought $1.892 million to claim the top sale.

The company’s offering of automobilia saw a 100% sell-through rate. Among the highlights was the bidding war over a 1990 Claude Botin 250 Testa Rossa Child’s Car that ultimately sold for $30,625.
