RMVR Honoring Longtime Member With Oct. 10-11 Event

Aurora, CO -- Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing will host entries in four race groups this weekend for its Myrl Sumner Family Fall Race at La Junta Raceway, and spectators will be welcome.

“Myrl Sumner is one of our members who has been with RMVR the longest -- 30 some odd years,” event co-organizer Jeff Hall said. “And numerous people  -- including his son, Brandon, and daughter-in-law, Megan -- have taken up racing with our club because of his influence.”

As part of the honors for the weekend, the elder Sumner will get to set the field for all run groups for Sunday’s feature races.
