Results: Worldwide Auctioneers Sept. 5 Auburn Sale

Auburn, IN -- Worldwide concluded an upbeat 13th annual Auburn Auction with nearly $8 million in total sales and a 90% sell-through rate.

High sale went to a meticulously restored and multiple award-winning 1935 Auburn 851 SC Boattail Speedster with body design by Gordon Buehrig that realized $1.072 million. The celebrated Stainless Steel Trifecta -- a 1936 Ford Deluxe Sedan, 1960 Ford Thunderbird and 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible -- sold for $1.045 million.
