Gooding & Company Will Begin Online Auctions Aug. 3

Santa Monica, CA -- Gooding & Company revealed Monday (June 8) that it will launch a new platform for auctions to be conducted through the company’s website and mobile bidding app.

The inaugural

Geared Online

event will run from Aug. 3-7, and will mark a new milestone for the auction house, which has experienced success with online bidding during recent auctions. The virtual series will complement the company’s live events.

“Geared Online offers our usual level of service to our clients, yet on a digital stage,” said President and Founder David Gooding. “One of the key components of our sale plan is that we will have possession of the lots in our facility, allowing us to have a hands-on familiarity with each vehicle we are selling.”

Early highlights in the Aug. 3-7 sale include a trio of Ferrari supercars from a single collector -- a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, a 1995 Ferrari F50, and a 1992 Ferrari F40 -- as well as a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2. We’ll be back with a preview closer to the sale date.
