Barrett-Jackson Sets World Records in Online Only May Auction
Scottsdale, AZ -- In follow-up to last week’s news about Barrett-Jackson’s $425,000 sale of the Dale Earnhardt-driven NASCAR Chevrolet donated by team owner Richard Childress to raise funds for those who have been impacted by the coronavirus, the auction house recently shared that the sale brought in more than $3.79 million for a limited selection of vehicles and automobilia.

One of the auction's top sellers, this 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 found a new owner for $195,000.
automobilia items sold
for more than $266,000, including a huge Late-Model Custom Porsche Neon Sign that brought $16,675 to claim the top spot.“We kicked off the auction by setting a world auction record for our very first [automobile] lot,” said Craig Jackson, B-J chairman and CEO. “Our two top sellers also were part of an exciting bidding war similar to one you’d experience during one of our live auctions.”
