2020 Put-in-Bay Vintage Races Changing Dates

Put-in-Bay, OH -- Organizers of this year’s Put-in-Bay Vintage Sports Car Races announced Monday (April 27) that the event’s dates will move to Sept. 22-25 -- with racing at the Put-in-Bay Airport on Sept. 23-24 -- from the original dates of Sept. 29-Oct. 2.

This change was made necessary by IndyCar’s decision (announced April 6) to hold an event on the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway the weekend of Oct. 2-4. Because both events use corner workers from Lake Erie Communications, those workers would have had to either work five straight days or choose between events.
