Remembering John Horsman 1934-2020
John Horsman, a successful racer from the 1960s through the 1980s whose career also included engineering a solution to the Porsche 917’s handling problems, has died at the age of 85.

In his 2006 autobiography, , Horsman offered a personal account of the world’s greatest circuits, along with insights into drivers and crews of his racing era, and how his tail design for the Porsche 917 proved to be an exciting solution to the car’s handling difficulties.
