It's the 17th installment of the Inside The Sports Car Paddock interview show and we open with CORE autosport race engineer Jeff Braun on the topic of chassis setup at the unique street course at Detroit's Belle Isle where IMSA visits this weekend for a round of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and he closes on the art of track testing, how he formulates a test plan, and how mountains of data from a test are turned into usable information to improve the team's performances.
Our final guest is Ginetta owner Lawrence Tomlinson, who provides an update on the manufacturer's FIA WEC LMP1 effort and the brand's plans for LMP3.

Marshall Pruett
The 2026 season marks Marshall Pruett's 40th year working in the sport. In his role today for RACER, Pruett covers open-wheel and sports car racing as a writer, reporter, photographer, and filmmaker. In his previous career, he served as a mechanic, engineer, and team manager in a variety of series, including IndyCar, IMSA, and World Challenge.
