Larson, Suarez crew chiefs fined after Dover
Two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series crew chiefs were penalized for minor technical infractions after the Gander RV 400 at Dover.
Billy Scott, crew chief for Daniel Suarez’s No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing entry and Chad Johnston, who is in charge of Kyle Larson’s No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevy, were fined $10,000 apiece after post-race inspections revealed that their cars had one unsecured lug nut.
Larson finished a season-best third in Monday’s rain-delayed race, and Suarez 11th.
These were the only penalties after NASCAR’s tripleheader over the weekend.
