Justin Haley will make his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway driving for Spire Motorsports.
Haley, who turns 20 this Sunday, will drive the No. 77 Chevrolet with sponsorship from Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.). The non-profit organization has been a supporter of Haley’s since 2017 when he competed in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series, and was the sponsor on his car when he made his first three Xfinity Series starts last season.
“Justin Haley is a proven winner and a future superstar,” said Spire Motorsports co-owner T.J. Puchyr. “Justin has won at several levels and knows what it takes to compete with the best in the business. He’s a very talented, smart racer so we’re confident he’ll do a good job this weekend.”
Haley will pull double duty at Talladega. A full-time competitor in the Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing, he will also compete Saturday afternoon in the MoneyLion 300. A former Truck Series competitor, Haley has three career wins in 50 starts in that series.
“This is a dream come true,” Haley said. “I couldn’t be prouder than to make my Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series debut with Spire Motorsports and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. The F.O.E. has supported my career since the beginning and it feels like our program will come full circle when I make my debut on NASCAR’s biggest stage this weekend at Talladega. I’m incredibly grateful to both Spire Motorsports and F.O.E. for this opportunity. I’m excited to get on track and see what we can do.”
Spire is a full-time Cup Series team running the charter purchased from Furniture Row Racing. Haley will be the sixth different driver to compete for the team this season.
