Continuing to bring the wheel-to-wheel action of the Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by BFGoodrich directly to its fans, Mazda Motorsports announced today that it will stream the season-opening weekend from Circuit of The Americas on March 23 and 24.

The 2019 Global MX-5 Cup season opener will also be the first race of the new Global MX-5 Cup car which features the higher-revving, 181-horsepower SKYACTIV-G engines found in the 2019 Mazda Miata MX-5. The 2018 Global MX-5 Cup season opener at Circuit of The Americas saw Bryan Ortiz claim the first race before rookie Selin Rollan narrowly beat him to win the second race.
