Injured JTG crewman out for a 'few weeks'

The JTG Daugherty crew member who was hit during a pit stop at Martinsville Speedway will be out of action for a "few weeks."

Zack Young, the jackman on Chris Buescher's No. 37 team, was injured early in the STP 500 on Monday. After being evaluated at the track's infield care center, NASCAR extended the race's first stage break caution for an ambulance to transport Young from the track to the hospital.

Tuesday Young tweeted updated those on Twitter:

Young was replaced for the remainder of the Martinsville race by Evan Marchal, the gasman for teammate AJ Allmendinger's team.
