Monday was tech inspection and a Prologue. A short special stage in the desert just outside San Luis Rio Colorado. It gave us all a chance to figure out what we know and don’t know…
We finished the Prologue stage (Melissa driving, Sydney navigating) happy to not be lost. Sydney is a professional Parkour and freerunning athlete and brand new to motorsports. She’s hooked!

Bike entrants take multi-tasking to a new level.
Owner Jon Steinhilber and Joe Lowery of Escondido, California, brought a VW Meyers Manx to take on the Sonora Rally.
