CGR president Lauletta to step down
Steve Lauletta is leaving his post as president of Chip Ganassi Racing.
Lauletta joined CGR in 2007, and will step down at the end of March. However, he will remain with the organization through the end of the season as a consultant. No replacement has been named.
CGR
hired Doug Duchardt
as its chief operating officer in January in what the team called an effort "to increase collaboration, performance and growth across all of CGR's worldwide racing activities," and was set to work closely with managing directors Max Jones, Mike Hull as well as Lauletta. Duchardt, who spent 12 years at Hendrick Motorsports, is believed to be taking over most of the duties Lauletta was overseeing.Latest News
