American-flagged outfit DragonSpeed has confirmed to RACER that it will race in the 2018/19 FIA WEC season with an ORECA 07 Gibson in the LMP2 class, in addition to its previously confirmed BR1 LMP1 effort.

The team, run by Elton Julian, is expanding its program for 2018/19, after it raced in the ELMS with two ORECA 07s in 2017, one of which went on to win the LMP2 title.

This year the team will campaign an ORECA in the ELMS and the FIA WEC, as well as a BR1 LMP1 in the latter championship.

The driver line-up for its WEC LMP2 effort is expected to be revealed in due course.
