Front Row Motorsports is beginning to release details around its Nos. 34 and 38 cars for this season.
David Ragan will again be behind the wheel of the No. 38 car Ford with the team announcing over the last two days that 1000Bulbs.com and Shriners Hospitals for Children would be part of his sponsorship support. Ragan will sport the 1000Bulbs.com colors at Auto Club Speedway, Texas (April), Dover (October) and Homestead-Miami Speedway (November).
“Kim [Pedersen, 1000Bulbs.com founder] and his staff are smart business people, and they know a good opportunity when they see one,” said Ragan in a team release. “I’m thrilled that they saw the value of our sport, and working with Front Row Motorsports in particular, when they partnered with us for a race last fall in Phoenix and decided to get more involved this year.”
Friday morning, Front Row also announced that Seth Barbour will be Ragan’s crew chief. Last year, Barbour worked with Landon Cassill on the No. 34 team. Cassill was released from the team and is being replaced by Michael McDowell.
It will be the No. 34 team that McDowell slots into. The 33-year-old McDowell joins FRM after four seasons with Leavine Family Racing.
Details of McDowell’s crew chief and sponsors have not yet been announced.
