SportsBusiness Daily reports that Coors confirmed their decision today as the deal is set to expire on Sunday. Coors has been a partner of NASCAR for the last 10 seasons, taking over the role from Anheuser-Busch [Budweiser] in 2008. Anheuser-Busch began its relationship as the official partner of NASCAR in 1998.

As the sanctioning body's official partner, Coors Light had also served as the sponsor of the pole award in all three NASCAR national series.

The company is not leaving the sport altogether. The sister brand of MillerCoors, Miller Lite, signed an extension in November to remain a primary sponsor on the No. 2 Team Penske Ford with driver Brad Keselowski.
