Acura Team Penske is out in force at Daytona International Speedway as the program gathers critical data at another key circuit where the brand-new ARX-05 DPis will compete next year.
The ORECA-built, 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 Acura-powered prototype logged laps with Penske veterans Juan Montoya and Helio Castroneves, along with newcomers Dane Cameron and Ricky Taylor, who comprise the team’s full-time driver roster.
Between runs, local media spent time with the drivers who will usher in Acura’s return to prototype competition after its most recent program went silent in 2009.
