Acura Team Penske tests DPi Prototype at Daytona
Acura Team Penske is out in force at Daytona International Speedway as the program gathers critical data at another key circuit where the brand-new ARX-05 DPis will compete next year.
The ORECA-built, 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 Acura-powered prototype logged laps with Penske veterans Juan Montoya and Helio Castroneves, along with newcomers Dane Cameron and Ricky Taylor, who comprise the team's full-time driver roster.
Between runs, local media spent time with the drivers who will usher in Acura's return to prototype competition after its most recent program went silent in 2009.
