Erik Jones will be in a backup car for Sunday’s race. The No. 77 Toyota did not participate in the morning practice as the team battled a steering issue. When Jones did get on track in the final session, he complained of the car being loose. He would later spin and damage the right rear of his car.
The Jones accident was the only incident during the 55-minute session.
