Penske, Scuderia Corsa clash early at Petit

Calm lasted all of 20 minutes during the 10-hour Petit Le Mans as a spin by GTD champions Scuderia Corsa with Matteo Cressoni on board collected the second-place Prototype runners at Team Penske. Left with nowhere to go, Penske's Helio Castroneves suffered damage to the right-rear bodywork of his ORECA 07-Gibson that necessitated a visit to the pits.

Castroneves lost one lap while the rear bodywork was replaced; Cressoni lost four laps to repairs and pit violations.
