Harvick paces morning practice

Kevin Harvick paced the Saturday morning practice session at Dover with a lap of 156.535 mph as the No. 4 Ford was the first of seven playoff drivers in the top 10. But second fastest was Dale Earnhardt Jr., who continues to show speed this weekend.

Earnhardt's fastest lap was 156.413 mph. Friday, Earnhardt was 12th fastest in opening practice and then qualified seventh for the Apache Warrior 400.

Completing the top five were Kurt Busch (156.352 mph), Jamie McMurray (156.148 mph) and Erik Jones (156.121 mph). The rest of the top 10 were Kyle Larson (156.087 mph), Chase Elliott (156.054 mph), Ryan Blaney (156.040 mph), Daniel Suarez (156.020 mph), and Ryan Newman (155.932 mph).

There were no incidents in the 55-minute session.

Defending race winner and polesitter Martin Truex Jr. was 21st fastest. The slowest playoff driver was Austin Dillon in 26th.
