Trenton Estep Quote:

"It was a really good weekend for myself and the JDX Racing team. We tested here the week before the race so we had an idea of what to expect from the track and what my #3/JDX Racing/Hertz Porsche needed to be fast. We weren't starting the weekend from behind, which was a huge plus given how extremely technical and tough this track is to master."

"In Race 1 on Saturday, I started fourth and got spun right away, fell back to eighth and had to drive the wheels off the car to get back up to sixth, where I eventually finished. It was a bummer because we had a fast car and I knew I could be on the podium but it put a fire under me for Sunday's Race 2."

"Race 2 I started eighth and had an awesome start. I was up to fourth place by the end of the second lap and made another pass on Lap 3 to third. We had a couple periods of yellow flags which hurt my rhythm a bit for the end of the race but I was very happy to take home another podium finish and stay in the fight for second place in the championship."

Mark Kvamme Quote:

"It was another amazing weekend of racing. I've raced here before and feel like I'm always getting better with every lap. I had so much fun behind the wheel and the technicality of this track really suits my driving. I had a bunch of friends and family here from the Bay Area and it was a real treat to show them that I really can drive a race car!"

“In Race 1, I qualified 14th and finished tenth overall and second in the Platinum Masters Division. Race 2, I started 14th again and finished ninth overall and second in Platinum Masters. I love racing against David [Baker, another Platinum Masters Driver] but he's so fast, I'm getting tired of finishing second to him! He's forced me to up my game and really try to make every lap perfect. I'm aiming for the win in Atlanta!"

Jeremy Dale, JDX Managing Partner Quote:

"I've raced here many times myself as a driver, but this is our team's first visit to Sonoma Raceway and it's an event we hope to be part of for many years to come. It's a very tricky race track - with nearly 200 feet of elevation change, no solid passing zones and a surface that's very hard on tires. Quite a puzzle for the drivers and teams."

"It's Trenton's first time here and he had a very solid run in qualifying to start P4 in Race 1. He got shoved off track twice on the first lap and shuffled back to eighth - and worked his way back to sixth with a very good drive. Race 2 he started eighth and drove brilliantly to fight his way to third, mere inches from the second place car. A very good result for your first trip to Sonoma."

"Mark continues to raise his game and challenge for a win in the Master's class and I'm confident he can do that in Atlanta."

"It's hard to believe we only have one race remaining on the 2017 schedule and we are looking forward to getting back to Road Atlanta in a few weeks to finish the season strong."
