Manor confirms line-up for COTA WEC round

CEFC Manor TRS Racing's head Graeme Lowdon has confirmed to RACER that its driver line-up across its two LMP2 ORECA 07 Gibsons will stay the same for the next round of theWorld Endurance Championship season at Circuit of The Americas later this month.

For this weekend in Mexico City, the trio in its No. 24 ORECA has been altered. Matt Rao has signed with the team to drive its No. 24 ORECA 07 Gibson for the 6 Hours of Mexico after parting ways with Signatech Alpine, Ben Hanley will make his team debut after two one-offs this year with TDS Racing and G-Drive Racing and Jean Eric Vergne is making his return after missing the 6 Hours of Nurburgring due to racing in Formula E. They're driving in place of Tor Graves and Jonathan Hirschi and Roberto Merhi who raced in the car last time out at the Nurburgring.

Simon Trummer, ex-F1 driver Vitaly Petrov and Roberto Gonzalez meanwhile, will continue to share the sister No. 25 car.

However, while its set to be the same combination for the round in Texas, no decisions have been made yet about the team's stable the final four rounds of the season. Lowdon though, is hoping to keep its set of drivers consistent for the remainder of the season.

"We'll keep the same line-up for COTA, as Matt is confirmed for us," Lowdon said. "After that, it's all still being worked out. We'd like a stable line-up for the rest of the season after Texas but we haven't confirmed anything yet."
