"What a weekend! My #3/Hertz/JDX Racing Porsche was fast all weekend and this is one of my favorite tracks to race at. Even the sun was shining everyday! My car was fast in every practice session and we had a decent qualifying. Race 1 was awesome, probably one of the most intense races I've ever had. It was wheel-to-wheel every lap but everyone was fair and gave you a little bit of room. I was happy to get back on the podium with another third place finish."

"Race 2 was a bit of a sting in tail. I started third and quickly passed Anthony [Imperato] and kept the pressure on McKay [Snow] who eventually made a mistake and I was able to take the lead at about the halfway point in the race. With a clear track in front of me and no pressure from behind, I drove every lap as perfect as I could and in the final five minutes of the race, I got a puncture in the left rear tire and had to coast to a stop off track, race over. It seemed like every race on Sunday had problems with punctures and I think maybe there was something sharp on track that was unseen and causing so many flats. It's tough to be so close to victory and have it taken away in just a few corners."

"It was an amazing weekend of racing. I feel like I'm really starting to understand the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car and how to get the most out of the car. My driving gets better every session and I'm getting more comfortable with the car all the time. VIR is such a spectacular track to race at and racing here with a bunch of your friends makes it even more special. Everyone races hard but clean."

“In Race 1, I qualified 16th but worked my way up the field and eventually finished 11th, which I was happy with. I gained a few more points and moved up into the top-10 in overall Championship points. In Race 2, I started 16th and finished tenth overall, again gaining valuable points. My goal when I came into this series was to be able to run in the top-10 every weekend and now I feel I'm able to do that so I'm going to push myself as the season winds down to try and run a little deeper inside the top-10."

Jeremy Dale, JDX Managing Partner Quote:

"Another bittersweet weekend for us at VIR results wise - but an epic weekend in terms of Trenton's development as a top-level driver. Our team has always had fast cars at VIR and Trenton has driven here before in a small open wheel car, so we went into the weekend feeling like we had a solid starting point. All of the above played out to our advantage and Trenton drove very well on Saturday to score a podium in his first Porsche GT3 Cup race at VIR, but Sunday was another story. He started third and had epic speed - enough to get to the lead about 20 minutes into the race. Along the way he set the fastest race lap and built nearly an 8 second lead on the second place car, but with 6 minutes remaining, the left rear tire failed and we were done. We went from being on the verge of our second win of the season to last place, but that's what racing has a habit of doing to you. The bottom line is Trenton and our team made a strong statement this weekend and for that, I'm very proud of everyone at JDX Racing. We can't wait to get to Sonoma and get back to work."
