TV Ratings: IndyCar at Gateway, Xfinity Road America

With the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series on hiatus, the NASCAR Xfinity Series took center stage Sunday at Road America. It pulled in a 1.32 rating on NBC and averaged 2.115 million viewers. Last year's race weekend saw the Xfinity Series score a 0.64 and 932,000 viewers for the Saturday race, while the Cup series earned a 2.12/3.38 million viewers for the Michigan race on NBCSN.

The Verizon IndyCar Series' Saturday night race at Gateway wound up scheduled at the same time as the lead-up to the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight, which started just minutes after the race ended. IndyCar saw a 0.23 rating and averaged 359,000 viewers on NBCSN in the series' first race at Gateway since 2003.

F1's Belgian Grand Prix scored a 0.30 rating and 447,000 viewers on NBCSN, down from last year's 0.35/526,000 viewers on the same network.
