NASCAR video: 360-degree tour of flange-fit Xfinity Series car body
NASCAR is offering an in-depth look at its Xfinity Series flange-fit composite body, which will be available for teams to try in three races this season ahead of a full-time introduction by 2019.
Teams will be permitted to run the new body at Richmond, Dover, and Phoenix, and it is expected to be optional at all non-superspeedway events in 2018. The series will implement weight and aero changes between the two bodies to ensure parity.
Senior director of NASCAR R&D Brett Bodine gives a 360-degree tour of the car body here...
...and explains how the new car will save teams time on repairs and cost.
