Standing water, lightning and an impending storm have washed out Friday's Xfinity Series and Trans Am on-track activity at Mid-Ohio.
The Xfinity Series was scheduled to hold two 55-minute practices at 2 and 4 p.m. ET. They will return to the track Saturday morning for an 8 a.m. ET practice, followed by qualifying at noon and the 75-lap Mid-Ohio Challenge at 3:30 p.m. on NBCSN.
The Trans Am Series was forced to cancel qualifying for Saturday's FirstEnergy Muscle Car Challenge and FirstEnergy 100. The races will be gridded based on championship points, with the first race starting at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The F4 U.S. Championship was able to finish one of its two races. A second is scheduled at 5:40 p.m.
