Corvette Racing's Binks raises record sum for Camp Anojikig

Corvette Racing crew chief Dan Binks was overwhelmed by the generosity of fans and members of the IMSA paddock on Saturday when his latest auction generated more than $43,500 for Camp Anojikig.

The youth camp founded in 1926, for which Binks now serves on the Board of Directors, has been in need of facility-wide renovations for some time, and with the annual racing memorabilia auction held at Road America, the nearby camp receives an invaluable financial boost when IMSA comes to town.

"I can't say enough about the generosity of everyone who participated at this year's auction," said Binks (pictured below), who will use the funds to install new ventilation systems at the camp. "It's really encouraging to be able to improve the experience of our thousands of campers and the Anokijig staff. This means so much to me, my family and everyone at the camp."
