
Ghiotto lands Williams test
Formula 2 driver Luca Ghiotto will get his first outing in a Formula 1 car when he suits up for Williams at next week's Hungaroring test.
The 22-year-old Italian will share the seat with Felipe Massa across the two-day test, which is scheduled to start on Tuesday.

"A big thanks to Williams for this opportunity," said Ghiotto. "I think the first F1 test for any driver is a special moment, and to do it with such an historic team is even better so I'm really excited. Of course, I also need to focus on the F2 weekend beforehand, but I'm really looking forward to the test and I really hope it goes well."
Ghiotto, who was runner-up in the 2015 GP3 championship behind Esteban Ocon, heads into this weekend placed fifth in the Formula 2 standings, with three second place finishes – two in sprint races, one in the feature race at Barcelona – to his credit.
"Our team has a strong track record for developing young talent, and we always enjoy seeing young drivers getting opportunities to demonstrate their ability," said Claire Williams. "I look forward to seeing how he performs."
