
Earnhardt's wife says 2018 Clash start 'not worth the risk'
If Amy Earnhardt gets to decide whether Dale Earnhardt Jr. will run "The Clash" at Daytona next February, the decision has seemingly been made – and she has even shared her reasoning.
For background, Earnhardt Jr. knew he had his work cut out for him if he was going to convince his wife to let him run the race. After he won the pole for the Coke Zero 400 earlier this month, qualifying him for the exhibition race, Earnhardt Jr. said the decision of whether or not he competed in the race would be left to Amy.
