Tagliani preparing for LMP3 debut

Alex Tagliani will make his LMP3 debut this weekend as part of the Craft-Bamboo Racing line-up for the opening round of the FRD LMP3 Series in Zhejiang, China.

The Canadian will share the team's No.20 Ligier with Australian Greg Taylor, while James Winslow and Mathias Beche will pilot the No.95 sister car.

"I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with Craft-Bamboo and drive this exciting car on what looks like an amazing track," Tagliani said. "I am also looking forward to working with my teammate, Greg, and I hope that we can bring some good results to the team during the season."

Tagliani is the only member of team to have no prior experience with the car although all of them are new to the track, a twisty 1.9-miler just south of Shanghai. The event will also mark the first competitive outing for the team's Ligiers.

"The wait is finally over and the FRD LMP3 Series will get underway this weekend," said Craft-Bamboo CEO Richard Coleman. "We are proud to be fielding two cars on the grid with exciting driver lineups and some fantastic new partners to share this journey with us. We have every hope for race results and victories over the course of the season."

Both cars will carry liveries inspired by characters from the 'Cars' franchise, with the No.95 running Lightning McQueen colors (BELOW) and the No.20 echoing Jackson Storm (TOP).
