
Kubica completes Renault F1 test at Valencia
Robert Kubica tested for Renault on Tuesday at Valencia, marking the first time he's tested a Formula 1 car since a potentially career-ending rally crash in 2011 that partially severed his right arm.
Kubica completed 115 laps in the private test in Renault's 2012 E20. In a series of playful tweets, the team said he "complained about grip, understeer, downforce" – and had "the biggest smile."

The Polish driver, who won the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix with BMW Sauber, has raced in rallying and endurance series in GT cars since his crash recovery, including the 2016 12 Hours of Mugello, a Renault Sport Trophy round at Spa and the Six Hours of Rome at Vallelunga. He made his return to racing in the World Rally Championship, capturing the 2013 WRC2 championship.
