
Panoz teases brand-new road racing concept car
Don Panoz says his newest racecar "will once again challenge the motorsports norms."
A teaser sent out by the pioneering team owner for an unveiling at the 24 Hours of Le Mans promises to reveal a "never-before attempted road racing concept" on June 15, which involves Panoz's new Green4U Technologies firm.

Through the Green4U company, which Panoz founded in September, it's believed the pharmaceutical maven will announce a program that employs an incredibly small energy storage and deployment system as the primary form of propulsion.
The sports car set for the Le Mans reveal is expected to provide a direct technological and promotional link to Panoz's burgeoning Electric Vehicle [EV] road car plans.
According to Green4U, "Over one year of market investigation and industry due diligence by Green4U's founders has confirmed that a significant market opportunity exists for a new business model that provides clean, reliable and lower cost EV alternatives to organizations that place a high priority on sustainability and are attracted to EVs' substantially lower operating costs."
Through his Panoz Racing and Elan Technologies concerns, Panoz has authored a number of groundbreaking motor racing programs. His famous front-engine LMP1 roadsters, the hybrid-powered 1998 Q9 GTR-1, and the recent DeltaWing project are among the highlights produced since Panoz entered the sport in the 1990s. In two weeks, sports car fans will find out of another model will be added to the list.
