Live stream info for Alonso's IndyCar oval test

Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso will turn his first laps in an IndyCar on Wednesday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and fans can watch it live here. Stay tuned to RACER.com on Wednesday morning for the live stream.

1969 Indy 500 winner and 1978 F1 World Champion Mario Andretti, RACER/NBC Sports Network's Robin Miller and NBCSN's Kevin Lee will take part in a live televised broadcast from 9:30 a.m. until noon ET.

Alonso will spend one day in the McLaren Andretti Autosport Honda before returning to Indianapolis for the start of official practice on May 15.

Fans will be able to watch Alonso's test for free from the Turn 2 viewing mounds, the Museum parking lot and the South Terrace Grandstands.
