ByKolles Fills Vacant LMP1 seats

Austrian LMP1 team ByKolles Racing has announced that British Super GT driver James Rossiter and ex-Rebellion LMP1 racer Dominik Kraihamer (ABOVE) will race alongside Oliver Webb this weekend in the FIA WEC opener at Silverstone.

This news comes after Robert Kubica announced yesterday that he would not be racing with the team this year, in its ENSO CLM P1/01 NISMO.

"At last we are back again," said Webb. "I am looking forward to the start of the season with a great deal of anticipation, because Silverstone is my home race, and after the prologue of the WEC in Monza, I am very much looking forward to the progress we have made with the car."

"I know ByKolles very well and I also drove the two races in Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps for the team last year," added Rossiter. "A race on home racing is always something special, especially since I have been driving almost only in Japan for years.

"Driving an LMP1 car round Silverstone is a very special challenge, we want to get through the race cleanly at the start of the new season, and then we'll see what's going on in the overall classification."

While Kraihamer and Rossiter are both confirmed for the first round of the season with the team, it has not yet been made clear whether they will take up the second and third seats in the team's car for the full-season.
