Keselowski, Harvick crew chiefs suspended

NASCAR has suspended the crew chiefs for Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick following infractions last weekend at Phoenix Raceway.

Keselowski's No. 2 Ford failed at-track inspection under sections 20.17.3.1.2 (Post-Race General Inspection Measurements) following a fifth-place finish in the Camping World 500. Wednesday, NASCAR issued its Phoenix penalty report with Keselowski's finish being encumbered and under the L1 penalty crew chief Paul Wolfe has been suspended for the next three races and fined $65,000.

Team Penske has also been docked 35 driver and owner points.

Harvick finished sixth in the race and his No. 4 Ford was one of the cars taken back to the NASCAR R&D Center for further inspection. It was found in violation of sections 20.3.3.3 I-4 Track Bar Mount and Supports. As a result, Harvick's finish is also encumbered and crew chief Rodney Childers has been suspended one race and fined $25,000.

Stewart-Haas Racing has also been docked 10 driver and owner points.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be on track at Fontana's Auto Club Speedway starting Friday, March 24.
