PSRX Volkswagen World RX Team Sweden has unveiled its 2017 Volkswagen Polo GTI Supercar.
Double World RX champion Petter Solberg and Sweden's Johan Kristoffersson will compete in a pair of Volkswagen Polo RX Supercars that have been developed and engineered in Hanover, Germany. The squad is based on Solberg's rallycross outfit for the last three years, but with cars coming – along with technical support – from Volkswagen Motorsport in Germany. The team headquarters will remain in Torsby, Sweden.

In the video below, Solberg talks about the process of launching the team, how the Volkswagen partnership came to be and
"I'm a little bit stubborn guy," he joked. "I really want to run and be a part of this myself. This is my passion with my wife and we really want to do this, like a family thing, and to give 110 percent, because winning in Rallycross it's never an easy thing, so everybody has to push the limit very hard."
"You can see now everybody is ready and I can't wait to show everybody."
The FIA World Rallycross season begins April 1-2 in Barcelona.
