Marquez dislocates shoulder in private MotoGP test

Marc Marquez briefly dislocated his shoulder during Saturday's private test session in Jerez, Spain. After rain washed out Friday's first day of the two-day test, Marquez and teammate Dani Pedrosa took to the track on Saturday under cloudy skies.

In the afternoon, Marc crashed at Turn 7 and briefly dislocated his right shoulder. A check at the circuit's medical center showed no further damage, and despite the crash, Maquez was able to complete most of his testing program.

"Today was a productive day, as we were able to do many laps and to work on our bike well," Marquez said. "We did most of the work we had planned, which is good. I crashed in the afternoon and dislocated my shoulder, but luckily it was nothing serious. Now I'll have some rest back at home and get ready for the next test, in Qatar [March 10-12]."
