Enzo Fittipaldi joins Ferrari Driver Academy

Enzo Fittipaldi, grandson of former F1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi, and 16-year-old karting graduate Marcus Armstrong are the two newest drivers at the Ferrari Driver Academy.

The 15-year-old Fittipaldi debuted this year in the Ginetta Junior Championship, finishing 18th. Armstrong, from New Zealand, has raced in KF and KZ classes in European karting. Fittipaldi's older brother, Pietro, competed in Formula V8 3.5 in 2016.

Both signed with the academy after an evaluation test held at the Fiorano Circuit in November. The two will come on board in January, joining the students already enrolled. They join fellow drivers Charles Leclerc and Antonio Fuoco, both of whom will graduate to GP2 in 2017 with Prema Racing, Giuliano Alesi and Guan Yu Zhou.
