IMSA VIDEO: PR1/Mathiasen Ligier tests continue
The PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports team is continuing its preparations for a move up to IMSA’s Prototype class next year. As shown in a video recently captured at Sebring International Raceway, the Bobby Oergel- and Ray Mathiasen-owned WeatherTech SportsCar Championship program has been busy logging miles with the factory-supplied Ligier JS P217-Gibson WEC-specification P2 chassis.
Once the team receives its own Ligier P217-Gibson from the French manufacturer, the Californian outfit will continue testing as the Jan. 28-29 Rolex 24 at Daytona season opener approaches.
