TeamTGM’s Ron Rigdon Leads Santa’s Toy Run at Road Atlanta This Weekend
Team TGM No. 64
As cars take to the famous Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Georgia for Santa’s Toy Run this weekend, there won’t be just one winner to the race. The event benefits thousands of children across the state of Georgia as over 80 cars will take to the track to deliver ‘miles for smiles’.

Since the inception of Santa’s Toy Run in 2008, the event has raised over $75,000 and has provided more than 3,600 hundred children with toys for Christmas.
The event includes an exciting and thrilling ‘Race Car Ride Along’ with pro drivers in NASA-Southeast.
Sunday’s race is a one of a kind race called the “Toy Run” with every car from every race category racing simultaneously among one another with an impressive lineup of over 80 cars. It will be a remarkable fun-filled weekend of excitement and wheel-to-wheel racing, with it all benefiting kids in need.
TeamTGM’s own Ted Giovanis will be on hand to give VIP ride alongs for contributing sponsors and donors.
The biggest winners of “Santa’s Toy Run” are the recipients, kids of all ages. The directors at NASA-SE have graciously agreed to exchange “Tickets for Toys.” Everyone who attends the races and donates a new unwrapped toy or a gift card that has a value of $20 or more will receive an exclusive all access two-day pass. These donations, gift cards & toys will be distributed locally to qualified, well deserving kids, teens, or families in their true time of need.
1. Attend the race & exchange a toy or gift card for an all access pass to watch the races
2. Place a toy collection at your business, office or other facility
3. Purchase a “Race Car Ride Along” and experience Hot Laps on the fastest road course in America at Road Atlanta, in racecar driven by a professional driver
4. Affordable sponsorships are available at all levels for companies and individuals
5. Volunteer yourself or group to help with this event
“This is such an important event for me and I’m thankful for everyone who continues to make it a success year after year,” said Ron Rigdon of Santa’s Toy Run. “ALL sponsorships, ride alongs, or donations are made payable directly to the Charity so no third party takes any portion of the money. There are no paid employees or staff for Santa’s Toy Run. It is 100% based off of volunteers, plus NASA-SE giving up their revenue for all gate proceeds which is just phenomenal. All organizations are pre-qualified and a non-profit 501c3 so as to protect the integrity of the donor. Each charity is local to our community with the exception of VFW (Veterans Of Foreign War) National Home For Children. New to our recipients list this year is Camp Boggy Creek and we are ecstatic about adding them to our event.
“It’s my goal to help children in need, especially at Christmas. All of the children need to know there are adults that do care about them and want to help, and do not expect anything but their happiness in return.”
More than 1000 participants are expected for this weekend’s event. Admission to the event for everyone including Drivers, Teams and Fans is a $20 toy or Gift Card. There are more than a dozen locations for toy drop offs.
