Fanvision, Racing Electronics launch new Android race scanner

The next step in FanVision Entertainment and Racing Electronic's continued legacy of excellence in racing technology, the Legend features the "Classic Scanner" to listen to driver and team and communications. You can also enable "FanVision" mode at NASCAR Cup Series events for live in-car video and broadcast feeds, digital driver audio, data, and advanced analytics, all with no Data Plan or WiFi required.

The Legend will work at thousands of races at hundreds of tracks nationwide to give you the awareness of a crew chief and the point of view of the driver. It also comes with a variety of pre-installed Android apps, like NASCAR Mobile and Race Monitor, that can be used where connectivity is available.

This gearhead's dream device mounts to an engine block or dashboard easily and can do even the simple everyday work of a dash-cam or GPS. With a little adaptor, the Legend talks to your car's OBD2 on-board diagnostics computer and packs a library of connected car apps that do everything from interpreting engine light codes to tracking gas mileage to providing a real-time customizable digital dashboard for everyday street driving and track days.
