INDUSTRY: Motor Sport magazine appoints new editor
Longstanding British publication Motor Sport has appointed Nick Trott as its new Editor.
"In his 20 years' experience as a motoring journalist, editor and producer, Nick has worked across a number of prestigious brands online, in print, digital and video," said Giovanna Latimer, Managing Director of Motor Sport.
"He has embraced the huge technical changes in the industry with creativity and relish and brings with him a deep commitment to high quality journalism."
Trott, who is currently editor of Evo magazine, said:
"Motor Sport is a world-class brand. I have read the magazine, used the website and enjoyed the podcasts for many, many years. The title and its journalists are revered around the world for outstanding quality, independent thinking and detailed analysis, and to develop this, particularly on the digital side, is a fantastic opportunity."
Motor Sport was founded in the UK in 1924 as the Brooklands Gazette. In August 1925 the title was changed to the all-encompassing Motor Sport, making it the longest-running motor racing publication in the world.
